The pant wye that I made for the table saw. I made a poster board model and used that for a pattern to cut the pieces and hand formed it.

The over head hood is attached to the ceiling with bolted aluminum angles and the support for the hood is steel that I welded some of the parts together.

I used the side plate guards and supports that came with the Powermatic. They attach to the upper box that is 4”X16”X2” and all made of Lexan except the 4” tube which is Plexiglas.

The hood can be raised and it moves sideways to get it where it's needed.

The flap at the front can swing back and forth but with the air on, it just stays straight back. A little improvement is needed there but it doesn't throughout very much dust.

The flap at the back can only open towards the back so all the air is pulled from the front.

I was cutting some dados and ended up with a big pile of chips on the floor and inside the cabinet so I made these deflectors. They fit to the inside of the blade shroud

The deflector for the zero clearance insert was difficult since I couldn’t see how it was fitting inside the blade shroud. I used a piece of Plexiglas to make the front portion of the insert,

You can only use the deflector with the blade at 0 deg. bevel unless you make one for a special case like I did to make the roof panels for a bird feeder.

I found that I could use this one on the dado for a 4 to 11 deg bevel angle.

I added the feather boards and modified the internal area of the dust hood. I also replaced the hex head set screws in the cutter guard with metric T knobs that I found at Grangers.

I added the internal side and top plates to direct the chips and dust into the pick up. The saels are made from a door sweep.
