The dust bin is made from a 20 gal. steel barrel that I cut about 15 in. off of the bottom and used a piece of treated plywood for a new bottom with some furniture glides...

The lid is made from MDF and this is after I reworked it to fit the barrel. The gray seal around the edge was used for a 20 gal. Behrens trash can and the black seal is a big oring from the barrel lid....

I use a ‘Lawson Easy Bagger’, a vinyl sheet that unrolls in the bag, from Ace Hardware to hold a trash bag open and used some binder clips to hold the bag in place....

Cyclone parts formed and ready to assemble. I soldered everything together using a hand held propane torch and a small butane torch with Duzall acid flux and 50/50 solder.
